Legal Information
This page simply contains legal information and a disclaimer, just in case anyone has a problem with anything I write. I've created two - one for original fiction and one for fanfiction. If you have any questions, please contact me and I'll be sure to sort it out. :)

I believe that information wants to be free, and that anyone who enjoys my original works should be free to share, distribute, adapt, and use my work provided they give me, Genevieve Colter, credit as the creator. That's why I've covered all of my original work only under a CreativeCommons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License. Disclaimer
All original written and artistic work presented on this site is protected under a CreativeCommons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. This means that you are allowed to share only my original work, including poetry, blog posts, artwork, and short fiction. You are also allowed to use it for commercial purposes, build on, or adapt the work, but any alterations of the work must be attributed to Genevieve Colter and this website, and additionally you may only distribute your resulting work under the same or similar license to the one here. Fanfiction and Fanpoetry works are not covered under this license since it is not my original work, only an adapting of another's work and not done for profit (since that's copyright infringement, which is kind of illegal). All fictional material is presented for free reading on FictionPress.Com. Sugary Snicket Productions has no affiliation with or claim to any of FictionPress.Com or any of the ratings on FictionRatings.Com.
All work presented here is not for profit, unless otherwise stated. Any and all resemblance to any ideas posed by other authors is coincidental and should not be taken as copyright infringement of the author's ideas. Any resemblance between a character in any of Genevieve's works and a real person, living or deceased, is entirely coincidental. Any resemblance between a character's name and a real person's name, living or deceased, is also coincidental, and Genevieve will usually correct the error if it is pointed out to her in a well-organized and polite way.
Any and all material written using open-source characters or characters commonly used in an open-source manner is not for profit unless otherwise stated, and should not be used commercially as one's own material, unless the material is understood to be fully open-source. Examples of this include Creepypastas using characters not originally created by Genevieve Colter, characters within fan-created Mythoi like the Fear Mythos, and characters within a work that is or has become open-source. Any and all use of stories containing these characters is to be done under the CreativeCommons ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License, with proper attribution given to the true creators when possible. This means that you acknowledge the work is both open-source and not for profit, and that it must remain both open-source and not for profit, unless the source material is known to be completely open-source and not trademarked by anyone (an example of this is the Fear Mythos).
All blog entries in Genevieve's blog, Musings 2.0, are the opinion of Genevieve Colter and do not necessarily reflect the opinions or beliefs of Weebly or its subsidiary sites, owners, or company that runs it. Sugary Snicket Productions is not responsible for any offense taken at these blog entries or any personal injury that comes from practicing anything discussed therein. It is recommended that, because some content in Musings 2.0 may at some times be inappropriate for minors, parents of children under the age of 16 read the blog first before allowing their children to read it. Because of this, all material in Musings 2.0 is rated T for teenage audiences and above. All entries are the property of Sugary Snicket Productions and Genevieve. Under the CreativeCommons ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License, you are allowed to repost or link to any and all blog entries presented on Musings 2.0 on your own site or blog as long as you give credit to Genevieve Colter and provide a link back to the original blog entry at Wordflow.
All written works using characters that are trademarked to other companies, otherwise known as fanfiction, are copyrighted to their specific companies and trademarks. Sugary Snicket Productions has no affiliation with, ownership of, or claim to any of the trademarks of these companies, and therefore any fictitious work using these characters is not for profit.
The Joker, Batman, the Batman franchise, Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight are trademarked to DC Comics and Time-Warner Publications.
The Baudelaire Orphans, Count Olaf, A Series of Unfortunate Events and Lemony Snicket are trademarked to Daniel Handler and Harper-Collins Publishing.
The Nightmare Before Christmas and Jack Skellington are trademarked to Tim Burton and the Disney Corporation.
Danny Phantom is trademarked to Nickelodeon Studios, Inc., Billionfold, Inc., and Butch Hartman.
The Phantom of the Opera, as written by Gaston Leroux, is a public domain text as its trademark and copyright have long ago run out, but all references to the musical The Phantom of the Opera are trademarked to Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Really Useful Group.
The Myst franchise, Myst, Riven, Myst III: Exile, Myst IV: Revelation, Myst V: End of Ages, Uru, and Uru Live, along with any other works and all characters therein, are trademarked to Cyan Worlds, Inc., Rand Miller, and Robyn Miller.
Doctor Who, the Doctor (all incarnations), the TARDIS, Daleks and associated other characters are trademarked to the BBC and its substituent groups and the creative team behind the stories presented in both runs of the series, past and present.
The Slender Man (Slenderman) is currently trademarked to SomethingAwful user Victor Surge, although it is often used in an open-source manner. As a Creepypasta character, this character is considered open-source, but with the added caveat (due to the above trademark) that no work featuring this character is to be sold for profit unless substantial changing of the source material is done. In other words, if at any time Victor Surge's original vision of the Slender Man is used in a work on this site, this will be noted somewhere in the author's notes or story description, and it is to be considered a work of fanfiction and may not be used for a profit of any kind. If, however, the character has been changed to reflect current trends in the more open-sourced Slenderman Mythos proper, as is per usual for WordFlow, the story is subject to the same CreativeCommons ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License rules above, with the additional caveat that Victor Surge is also credited as the character's original creator.
Any and all Lovecraftian monsters discussed or mentioned in stories or on the site are currently open-source as the texts are in the public domain, however this is somewhat disputed for H. P. Lovecraft's original works. Even so, the Cthulhu Mythos as a whole has always been an open source setting, and Lovecraft himself encouraged others to write in it, use his characters, and alter the world he created as they saw fit. The Call of Cthulhu Roleplaying Game is the property and trademark of Chaosium, Inc., and Gen's original Call of Cthulhu creations, her game playthrough blogs, and all critiques of any scenarios are not affiliated with Chaosium, Inc. in any way. Masks of Nyarlathotep, Call of Cthulhu, any and all mentioned supplements for Call of Cthulhu, and the Basic Role-Playing System are trademarked to Chaosium, Inc.
